For some reason this “person” isn’t throwing Hurley his ball. Hurley, an 8-year-old border collie, was completely baffled when the statue standing before him wouldn’t throw his ball.

Hurley was out for a walk with his human Adam Shore on Liverpool’s Crosby Beach and playing fetch. When the friendly dog spotted a human figure standing on the shore he happily ran over to it and dropped the ball at its feet.

But poor Hurley, he’s being ignored.
