A greyhound with a broken leg was found wandering the streets of southern Spain.

A woman found the dog and took her to the veterinarian. While at they vet they realized that she just had puppies.

The vet said, ““We put a collar and long lead on her…Then we just followed her.”

She continued, “Limping and at times dragging her cast, she led us along muddy tracks.”

Once they got there they found 10 beautiful, healthy puppies. The vet said, ““It was really incredible how she decided to trust and show us where they were.”

They named the greyhound mother Vera. She and her puppies are recovering at a vet clinic.

They will put them up for adoption as soon as they are happy and healthy.
