No, it’s not the beginning of a bad joke. A pair of pit bulls really did walk into a hospital, but they just wanted to say hello and see what was going on! Needless to say, it caught everyone off guard.

The dogs strutted into St. Luke’s Anderson Campus, and their little adventure was caught on the security cameras. The friendly pits started exploring nearly every corner of the building as hospital staff watched in disbelief.

They even decided to swing by the pharmacy to see if they had any treats back there! The curious dogs made their rounds before being greeted by security who made sure they had water and were taken care of until police could arrive and reunite them with their owners. 🙂

A big thanks to St. Luke’s staff and the police for handling the situation so well. The dogs were more than happy to cooperate with everyone, they just needed to take a little journey!
