Football Player Walks Into Shelter And Asks For Their ‘Least Adoptable Dog’

There are animals in shelters all around the world who are in need of loving homes. Although a good amount of fur balls do get adopted, there are many who don’t – especially those who are elderly or suffer from health difficulties. So when Ronnie Stanley, a first round pick in the 2016 NFL draft, strolled into the Baltimore Animal Shelter and Care Centre with his girlfriend with the intentions of adopting a pup, his unusual request was met with surprise.

He asked for “a dog that’s been here a long time and maybe not-so-adoptable.” And they had the perfect pup for him – a lovely fur ball named Winter who fell in love with her new family immediately! It’s incredible to see a celebrity setting such a great example for his fans and the rest of the world. The story was posted on Facebook and went viral, and it’s been shared about 2100 times!
