Harley Has Been Adopted & Returned TWICE! Let’s Help Him Find His Final Freedom Ride

Poor, sweet Harley really needs a permanent hiatus from shelter life.

Sadly, he’s been adopted and returned to the shelter twice. The first time, his people moved. The second time, a divorce left him without a family. We really can’t understand it — and we know you can’t, either. How could anyone want to leave this guy behind?!

Thankfully, a grant from the Grey Muzzle Organization has allowed the Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge to help more senior dogs than ever.

Dogs like Harley need second and sometimes third chances.

Harley is a 7-year-old Shepherd mix and is as handsome and thoughtful as he appears. Harley is so polite when he takes his treats and gentle with his toys. He loves going on walks and hanging out in the yard. He forms a strong bond with his friends and feels like it is his job to keep them safe. He’s a smart boy, always eager to learn and loves to keep his friends happy. Harley will need some time to adjust to meeting new people and would probably do best in an adult-only home.

November is Adopt-a-Senior-Pet Month! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than to make Harley the newest member of your household.
