When one man decided he no longer wanted his dog, he did the unthinkable; he threw her in a storm drain on the side of the road, put the lid on and left her there to die. It became her own prison, and all she could do to survive was eat whatever floated by when it rained.

Goldie stayed in that living tomb for a month until a local who has a vet in the family heard what happened. They immediately drove to the location while hoping she was still alive.
