A mountain lion attack led to one man fighting to defend his old dog. The mountain lion had the old dog by its head and was slowly dragging it down to the forested area that surrounded the home.

Luckily, the man had woken up to discover what was going on and chased quickly after the menacing creature. Not knowing what to expect, his wife started throwing different objects at the mountain lion to try and scare it away but had no success with it.

The mountain lion still kept dragging the dog away until it had been jumped on and wrestled away. The dog is slated to make a full recovery, only a little spooked after the attack. It is highly advised to keep all pets inside during this time of year when migratory animals and any other animals are lurking outside.
