“Game of Thrones’” actor Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson is known around the world for his role as Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane (and for taking Iceland’s Strongest Man title five years running, Europe’s strongest two years running) but he’s got a far gooier heart than his brutal Westerosian alter-ego.

And one of the things that melts it is Asterix, Björnsson’s tiny pomeranian pup.

So beloved is the itty fluffball, Asterix has his own Instagram account, where the actor regularly posts photos of his dog wearing adorable outfits and looking freakishly small next to his ginormous sneakers.

The Mountain character is known for his adversarial relationship with his equally imposing brother, known as “The Hound,” but clearly the venom doesn’t translate to real life.

Björnsson stands a towering 6’9″ and weighs in at 400 pounds, which makes videos of Asterix tagging along on his cardio workouts exceptionally freakin’ cute.
