Pet Store Employees Caught Lying About Their Puppy Mill Dogs

Puppy mills are a huge problem. Breeders mass-produce dogs in terrible conditions and sell them off to pet stores with only profit in mind. Forget about the inhumane environments and how the dogs are treated, it’s all about the money. Pet stores seem innocent enough — and you can’t help but want to give the pets there homes — but the more pets we buy from them, the more support puppy mills get.

There’s only one way to put an end to the cruelty. And that’s to adopt, not shop. There are countless dogs lined up at shelters ready to be euthanized because they don’t have homes. By adopting, you can save a life and help put an end to puppy mills once and for all.

Pet stores know all of the facts and will sometimes lie to customers just to keep making sales. As seen in the video below, some pet store employees were caught on camera lying about where their dogs come from. When one employee was asked if the dogs came from puppy mills, he laughed it off and said, “I love when people say ‘puppy mills.’ No. They don’t come from puppy mills.” After a little research and digging, he was busted.

It’s kind of unbelievable the things some of these employees say right to their customers’ faces. The flat-out lies and made up stories about breeders are told just to get people to feel comfortable enough to make a purchase. They have been exposed. Now it’s just about getting the word out there and educating people on the truth.
