PETA fieldworkers were driving by when they saw a dog tangled up on a property and stopped to help. But when they approached, the owners said they were no longer interested in even keeping the dog.

So they took him away. Flannel was very timid at first and didn’t know how to behave indoors, but now he’s learning how to be a dog for the first time in his life.
