12-year-old senior pup’s days are numbered at high kill shelter

Bo is a 12-year-old senior in great health, yet no one has come forward to adopt him at Orange County Animal Services in Orlando, Florida. Is it because he is older? Do brindle colored dogs miss the interest mark or are his videos posted by volunteers at the shelter just not sad enough?

Cris Ferreira is Bo’s best advocate and is saddened that this great dog is stuck at a kill shelter both depressed and deteriorating. His photos have been shared on social media.

“Dogs like Bo are often found dead in their kennels …. they give up, they just die,” wrote Cris.

On Thursday morning, Bully Up Rescue volunteered to help Bo, however this senior needs a foster home.

“Message our page if you would love to foster Bo. Central Florida fosters only. Rescue covers all costs. He is kenneled with another dog and been fine. We do not know his behavior with cats.”

And now Bo has a chance. Share this boy’s plight with friends, family and social media contacts. Your help is needed.
