Update! Rescued by Grand-Paws Senior Sanctuary
An elderly dog, 17 years of age, is perhaps the saddest surrendered dog you have ever seen. The senior dog, named Angel, was surrendered on February 27 by her owner who could no longer afford the veterinary costs.
Angel’s advocate writes:
17 yo spayed female 3-1/2 pounds.
Surrendered by owner who could no longer afford medical. According to owner, Little Angel has an ulcerated mammary tumor and a paralyzed leg. She’s back in the medical department receiving extra care so she can use some help being seen.
A video taken at the Los Angeles Animal Services, East Valley shelter, shows Angel with her head down in her bed…sad, confused and seemingly lost.

Angel shouldn’t die alone at the shelter. Please help this sad senior dog find a loving home to spend the last moments of her life in.
