A sad update regarding starved dog found in Ohio


On Friday morning, sad information was released about a starved dog who was found this week in Butler County, Ohio. The Butler County Sheriff’s Office informed Facebook followers that the emaciated dog died.

In a post, the authorities shared the tragic news and reiterated their request for information:

It is with great sorrow to inform you that the neglected canine we posted yesterday has passed away. We are asking for anyone who may recognize this beautiful animal, so we can link him to an owner, please contact Butler County Sheriff’s Dog Warden Jamie Hearlihy @513-887-7297 Ext. 6 so we can seek justice!!!

In a prior post, the Butler County Sheriff’s Office asked for the public’s assistance and recounted where the dog was found:

Sheriff Richard K. Jones states the Butler County Sheriff’s Office Dog Wardens located a Pitbull/Lab mix sitting on the side of the road located in the 2600 block of Hamilton Eaton Rd. in St. Clair Twp. He is severely emaciated and dehydrated currently under the care of a veterinarian.
