Ace’s look of bewilderment breaks our hearts after his family and home are gone

Ace was not dealt the best hand when his family moved out of the country after surrendering him to the East Valley Animal Shelter in Van Nuys, California. His look of bewilderment breaks our hearts – Ace has no idea where his family or home have gone.

According to the shelter, Ace’s former family did provide positive information about the dog they had for the last 10 years to help with an adoption inquiry.

Please share Ace’s plight; someone with a home and heart may want to adopt/rescue ACE to mend his broken heart and show him love, forevermore.

PetHarbor adoption:

“My name is Ace and I am a neutered male, red and white Mixed breed.

The shelter thinks I am about 9 years old.
I weigh approximately 65 pounds.

I have been at the shelter since Dec 08, 2020.”

“He is friendly around strangers and adults (not known how he is around children); He has a medium activity level; He loves squeaky toys; He is easy to walk on leash; He was indoors most of the time and is housebroken; He was fine when left alone.”
