Advocates seek miracle for young Heeler: His eyes show his pain

In Grundy County, Tennessee a young Heeler needs a miracle. No more than a year-and-a-half old, this pup is just miserable. He lives in the backyard of an elderly couple’s home with several other dogs, but this boy needs a miracle.

“His feet are so swollen he can barely walk. His eyes show the pain he is in. He is being fed by the elderly couple and has a dog house, but he clearly needs much more,” the non-profit rescue Dogs On Borrowed Time posted on their social media page.

“Despite the pain he is in, his tail wags and he welcomes attention. God love him. Please help if you can. We are going back today with simparica and antibiotics. No other dog shows signs of mange so it’s most likely demodex.”

Dogs on Borrowed Time is reaching out to rescues who can commit to this dog immediately; a young Heeler weighing 40-pounds.

“The feeling of helplessness not having an immediate place to take him is heartbreaking…”

Please network this dog’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
