After months at busy shelter, overlooked dog is out of time

After months of being ignored and overlooked at a busy Miami Dade, Florida, animal shelter, time has run out for a young dog named Susy. Two-year-old Susy has been at the Miami-Dade Animal Services facility since early November, but nobody has chosen to save her life.

On Tuesday, the Rescue Me Miami Facebook page wrote:

They are killing me today 3/23. In case I’m still alive could you please share me.

Deadline 3/23 !!! Susy #A2097494 die today today 3/23 as per shelter plea !!!

Susy beat the 3/23 deadline, but every day is a gamble…will she live or will she die? The odds are not in her favor.
