After weeks of being overlooked, senior dog is becoming sad and stressed

After many weeks of being overlooked at a loud and busy animal control agency, a senior dog named Oden has become kennel stressed. This week, the Saving Riverside Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote:

Meet Oden! All right! How can you deny that big senior pitty smile?! We’ve posted Oden on multiple social media platforms, & nothing. No interest. He playfully barks for attention but we can tell he’s definitely starting to get kennel stressed. This senior boy has been at the shelter for 1 1/2 months! He needs out!

Adding more details about the overlooked senior:

Oh sweet, old boy. It’s so peaceful watching you sleep. (See video in comments). We’re sure you’re dreaming of the perfect forever home where you’re appreciated & loved. We want that for you & we’ll continue to fight to find your happy ending. Shelter staff says Oden loves running around the play yard & becomes social after he has time to decompress. Oden is listed as status GREEN, geriatric, has some dental wear & is unfortunately, due to length of stay, becoming kennel stressed. Let’s get this 64 lb guy out to reputable rescue or a loving adoptive home!
