Animal shelter staff implores thief to return stolen puppy

Animal shelter staff is imploring a thief to make things right and return a puppy who was stolen from their facility on Saturday. In a Facebook post, the Voorhees Animal Orphanage writes:

This 12 week old female puppy, Phoenix, was just STOLEN from the shelter! We believe the person who did this was a woman in a white car. POLICE are here now and we are devastated. Please share and keep your eyes wide open. This person must be caught. Please share and help us bring Phoenix back!

We hope the person that did this, or their friends or family who notice the new pup, see this post and do the right thing and return this puppy.

And a message directly to whoever took Phoenix from the shelter:

Our priority is the safe return of this puppy. If the person who took it is reading this message, we urge you to do the right thing and return her to us. There will be no questions asked if she is safely returned.***

Anyone with information about this puppy’s whereabouts, or the person who took her, is asked to contact the Voorhees Police Department.
