A beautiful, albeit sad, dog is out of time in Houston, Texas. The white German shepherd mix (listed as a possible Corgi mix – short legs?), dubbed Marilyn, is at the Harris County Public Health and Environmental Services facility, and she needs out – now.
The Facebook page, Urgent Shelter Pets Houston, writes:
9/23 URGENT TODAY! NOW AT RISK! Please offer to foster Marilyn!
A prior post states:
This beautiful sad girl is a white German Shepherd/Corgi or Basset mix. She is about 3 years old, weighs 44 pounds and is negative for Heartworms. Isn’t she beautiful? Would you like to be the only person you know with such a unique shepherd?
She seems to have a hot spot causing her discomfort and hairloss on her flank, but that should be an easy fix.
Marilyn does not have the gift of time on her side – she needs to be noticed, and saved, today. Will you please take a moment to lend her a hand? She is unable to help herself and is relying on the kindness of strangers to save her life.
