Betrayed – elderly dog has no family and waits for someone to love her at shelter

An elderly dog, 14 years of age, has suffered the ultimate betrayal in the twilight of her life. Bingo was surrendered to the Lancaster Animal Care Center in California on December 6, and now she waits for someone to come along and offer her the chance to be loved.

Days ago, the Facebook page, Networking Now, writes:

14 yrs old & thrown away like a piece of garbage. Bingo needs to exit IMMEDIATELY, she is available NOW. LANCASTER, CA

Few people enter animal shelters looking for an elderly dog to adopt…most seek out puppies or young, adult dogs, not dogs who are almost 15 years old. Bingo deserves the chance to enjoy what remains of her life in a comfortable and loving home. She most definitely does not deserve to die alone, in a strange place, at the hands of someone she has never met.

Please help Bingo find a new owner by sharing her adoption information.
