Chesterfield police officer offering to pay adoption fees for last 3 dogs at shelter

In Chesterfield County, Virginia, there are only three dogs left at the Chesterfield County Animal Shelter; correction – as of one-hour ago, there are only two dogs left in need of homes before Christmas. And so with a smile in his heart, Col. Jeffrey S. Katz has offered to pay the fee if the dogs are adopted by the end of the day on Christmas Eve.

According to Chesterfield County Animal Services Sugarplum, Claus and Holly are all spayed and neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm tested. And the good news – Holly has already been adopted.

A few years ago, I had the pleasure of impersonating one of my childhood heroes at a pet adoption event held at our

Chesterfield County Animal Services.
Such a grand event was not necessary this year, as we are down to only THREE adoptable pets in our shelter. Three!!
Tremendous work on the part of our Animal Services Staff!
Now, let’s get those three pets adopted! I want to get these three precious animals into a loving and warm home before Christmas – so here’s the offer:
Adopt a pet before 12.24.20, and I’ll personally pay your adoption fee. FREE FUR BABIES!!!
PLEASE SHARE and let’s end this crazy dumpster fire of a year on a high note – with an EMPTY SHELTER.
Please help the word! Like, Share, and Tell your friends. Let’s make today our mission to find their #HomefortheHolidays !
