Dog at Queensland beach lost in huge sea foam rescued by onlookers

In Queensland, Australia, the foam was so large at the beach, a dog became lost and had to be rescued by several people who jumped in to find the terrified pooch.

According to the Daily Mail, a news weatherman had been at the beach preparing to do a live report when a woman ran in front of his camera jumping into the foam screaming for “Hazel.” The weatherman, Paul Burt dropped his microphone and rushed over to the woman and joined in the search for her dog.

Luckily, Hazel was found with the help of four people and back in the arms of her beloved owner.

Sea foam forms when storms roll in and the ocean is agitated by wind and waves currently following the “once in a 100-year storm.” Most beaches have been closed because of safety concerns.
