Dog returned to shelter for being ‘too loyal’
Meet Wink. It’s hard to believe this adorable floppy-eared pooch was returned to the Riverside Animal Shelter in California for being “too loyal.” Sadly, all we can do is shake our heads and tell her story.
Wink’s advocates tell us she is very gentle, solicits attention and walks obediently on a leash. The two-year-old German shepherd mix is an absolute love. She doesn’t react when she passes other dogs’ kennels and is just so deserving of a loving home where her loyalty will be rewarded with hugs, kisses, a comfortable bed and lots of treats.
Several short videos of Wink can be viewed by scrolling down here.
Share her plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contact. Sharing saves lives.
