Meet Scarlett. This young dog was found abandoned in a Rosenberg, Texas neighborhood – obviously recently having had a litter of puppies. She arrived at the Rosenberg Animal Control and Shelter on April 22.
Scarlett’s story is heartbreaking; we can only hope it will get better. This girl is only one-and-a-half-years old.
“When we traced her microchip, her original owner in Kentucky claimed Scarlett was supposedly shot dead by a relative after they moved to Texas. The original owner was surprised but relieved to hear Scarlett was alive and well, and she hopes that we can find a good home for her.
The more details we piece together of Scarlett’s story, the more we feel sad for her. But, this pup clearly has an intrepid spirit!,” the shelter posted on their Facebook page.
