A dog trainer in Danbury, Connecticut, is facing over a dozen animal cruelty charges. As reported by the News Times, the trainer is identified as Eddie Simon, aka “Eddie the Dog Guy.”

Police Detective Lt. Mark Williams has stated that Simon is facing 15 counts of animal cruelty after animal control officers found “15 poorly cared for dogs on his property.” Simon relinquished custody of the dogs after he was issued a summons for animal cruelty, and he agreed to refrain from owning or possessing any animals until the court case has been settled.

According to the news source, some of Simon’s clients complained that their dogs were returned in poor health, and some claim that he demanded additional funds before returning dogs to their owners.
