Dog utterly terrified after owners left him at kill facility in Texas
Update 10/29/2020: Safe with rescue!
A dog in Houston, Texas, is utterly terrified after his owners surrendered him to a “kill” facility. The dog, named Pongo, was brought to the BARC Animal Shelter & Adoptions facility by his family, and now he waits to be saved.
On Wednesday, the Houston Underdogs Facebook page wrote:
Pongo was surrendered by his owner on 10/26 due to his owner moving to an apartment. Sweet little Pongo is not adjusting to the shelter environment well, and is shaking and trembling of fear in his cage
Adding:
He has not shown any aggression, just very scared. It’s not easy going from a home to being left alone at a scary shelter
He could use a nice foster home filled with love and joy, where he can get a chance to decompress. Can you give Pongo a chance?
