Frankie is only four-years-old, and on Tuesday he was surrendered to Carson Animal Care Center in Carson, California by his owner. According to the shelter report, his family had taken him to a veterinarian, spent $500 and were told their dog has cancer and nothing more could be done.
“He needs help now so he doesn’t die alone in the shelter,” a volunteer posted as she watched Frankie being pushed into a shelter cage. “He is an incredibly sweet soul that was always great with other dogs.
Please share for a foster and a rescue to save him, the last dog with a cancerous mass was euthanized in less than a day…”
Check out Frankie’s heartbreaking walk to the shelter as his owner leaves him behind.
