Elderly beagle needs a home after his family gave him up

An elderly beagle is in need of a new home after his family gave him up – surrendering him to a busy California animal control agency. The 14-year-old dog, named KHALIL, was left at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Carson facility on May 28.

On the day that Khalil was surrendered, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote:

You can visit me at my temporary home at C405. My former family who owned me for had to give me up because they couldn’t afford the care I need.
