Elderly girl has a microchip, but her family never came to shelter to get her

On October 18, an elderly girl was taken in at a busy California animal control agency. The 12-year-old dog, named Kitty, has a microchip, but her family never came to get her.

Her advocate writes:

Quiet granny, happy and wiggly and loves treats. Arrived as a stray with a microchip, but no one ever came for her.

Saving Kitty

Kitty stands little chance of being adopted if nobody knows that she is there…elderly, black dogs are not the type of pets that adopters typically seek out. Please help this senior girl find a new family by sharing her adoption information.
