Frantic plea for help as young dog faces euthanasia at busy animal control

Less than 24 hours ago, a frantic plea was issued on social media for a young dog on a busy Texas animal control agency’s euthanasia list. The Houston Animal Shelter Heroes Facebook page writes of the danger Pixie is in:

! This poor girl is terrified at the shelter and needs a hero or she will be euthanized Wednesday 2/26 ‼️

Adding details about the death row dog:

Pixie came in as a stray on 2/22. She’s terrified but hasn’t shown any aggression and staff noted she actually did amazing for work up. She’s unsure of where she is and could really use a quiet foster home to decompress in. She looks like she may have been roaming the streets for a while.
