Heartbroken surrendered pup spotted white car outside shelter and wanted to leave

At the Miami Dade Animal Services in Doral, Florida, a heartbroken pup finds herself back at the shelter after two years. Tess had been living with her bonded companion Apple when her owner has been losing her home and the landlord objected to the dog being tied outdoors.

Sadly, Apple just died, and Tess was there to witness her passing.

Volunteers at the shelter describe Tess as mellow, shy, beautiful and sweet. In a most heartbreaking moment, Tess spotted a car outside of the shelter.

“She saw a white car while outside the shelter today and looked at the employee as if she was asking if she could go,” the dog’s advocate posted on social media.
