Last call – Elderly dog, 48 hours to death

A dire warning has been provided for an elderly dog, homeless and facing health problems, at a Texas animal control agency. The 13-year-old Boston terrier, named Mittens, has just 48 hours to live. On Monday afternoon, the Facebook page Focus on Furever writes of the heartbreaking situation that Mittens is facing:

48 Hours to DEATH

Tumors rack her 13 year old body. She was a good girl. She deserves better.

We currently have a senior female Boston Terrier that is in need of an immediate rescue. She is aged at 13 years old and appears to have tumors throughout her body and an injury on her right side of her neck.

Adding:

She is being given 48 hours for a rescue to tag. It may or may not change depending on her current stabilization.
