A Virginia man is facing animal cruelty charges for allegedly throwing two dogs to their death from an Arlington apartment balcony. According to multiple sources, 26-year-old Zachary Hanson threw the dogs from a balcony on Monday afternoon.
As reported by WUSA News, officers with the Arlington Police Department responded to a complaint at apartments located on the 1400 block of N. Taft Street after the two dogs died at an area veterinary hospital. The accused man was arrested without incident. As of yet, there has been no explanation for why Hanson threw the dogs to their death.
The accused man is facing two class six felonies for cruelty to animals.
