Man arrested for allegedly choking, throwing poodle to the ground


A Montana man was arrested for allegedly choking and throwing a poodle to the ground. As reported by the Montana Standard, 43-year-old James Arlen LaDue was arrested on Wednesday after a witness reported the abuse to the police.

A couple claims to have observed LaDue choking his dog and then throwing the poodle to the ground. The woman took the dog from LaDue and he allegedly proceeded to punch her. The man with the woman then restrained LaDue until the authorities arrived.

The accused dog abuser was intoxicated and claims that he has no recollection of what transpired. He was arrested and is facing charges for assault, and cruelty to animals. The dog was taken to the Chelsea Bailey Animal Shelter.
