Man offers $10,000 reward for safe return of stolen dog

A South Carolina man is offering a $10,000 reward for the safe return of his dog, who vanished when his Chevy truck was stolen from the parking lot a North Charleston Lowe’s home improvement store. The Labrador retriever mix, named Bella, was inside of Ben Brengle’s Chevrolet Silverado on the evening of December 22 – he ran inside of the store for less than five minutes, but an opportunistic thief made off with the truck, and Bella.

Brengle tells ABC 4 News, “She just sticks by my side, which is the hardest part, you know, that she’s out there alone. She’s got to be so scared, petrified. My family, myself, we’re all going through it. We all love her so much, but I can only imagine what she’s going through without me, without us.”

Bella’s owners have searched area shelters and turned to social media, setting up Instagram accounts and a Facebook page, to help find their beloved dog. To date, the two-year-old dog has not been found.
