Miami shelter reunites longtime companions but no one wants them
At the Miami-Dade Animal Services, Schwabo and Rocky have been reunited and now are able to comfort each other. The bonded pair have been long time companions and were surrendered by their owner. Now their lives are in danger of being cut short at the crowded shelter; a potential adopted never showed up.
The two had been separated for a few days while Schwabo underwent testing for a head tilt as well as a small tumor on his hindquarter. While apart Schwabo wouldn’t stop crying.

Rocky loves to play with a ball while Schwabo prefers a comfortable soft bed as he might be suffering from age-related arthritis; he will need further examinations and care by a licensed veterinarian. Rocky, although he is very active and happy, needs immediate dental work.
