No interest in young, ‘shelter favorite’ dog at California animal control

A young dog held at a busy California animal control has had no interest, despite being a shelter favorite. The one-year-old pup, named Diesel, has been at the Los Angeles County Animal Control – Palmdale facility since late March, and nobody wants him.

This week, his advocate writes:

When I walk by his kennel, he’s always barking and you don’t really get to see just how adorable his is. Well I’m telling you, he is. He’s a little shy at first, maybe for about 3 minutes and then he’s sweet and happy to get some love.

Adding:

Out in the play yard with other dogs, he is friendly, engaging and playful. After greeting everyone in the play yard he would engage with a few of them in chasing and tumbling. He didn’t mind the other dogs that didn’t want to play. He’s a shelter favorite and now one of mine too ☺️ please help him be seen by sharing, tagging and commenting

Saving Diesel

Diesel may be a shelter favorite, but that won’t save him if he continues to be ignored and passed by. You can help save this young dog’s life by taking a moment to network his adoption information.
