No little senior in distress should have to die alone at a shelter

At the Carson Animal Care Center in California, Neeko’s life is in danger. On Wednesday, the shelter listed the 10-year-old Chihuahua’s status as “urgent.”

“Urgent 48 hours medical foster plea for A5362511 10 yrs old Chihuahua located at Carson ACC.”

Neeko suffers from cardiac disease, some respiratory effort, tumor on the left side of his chest, lacerations, arthritis, patellar luxation, lethargic, possible lung consolidation and pleural effusion. The shelter explained if his condition worsens, they may be forced to euthanize him earlier.

Share this little one’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives. Neeko only has a few “shares” on social media. Please help him find someone to love and care for him – whether it’s one day, one week, one month or more. No dog deserves to take his last breath in a shelter.
