Owner surrendered bonded senior siblings to animal control, one dog is deaf, both are rescue only

Bonded senior siblings are homeless at a busy California animal control agency after being surrendered by their owner. The dogs, eight-year-old boxers, were handed over to the San Bernardino City Animal Control on October 10, and now they are listed as “rescue only.”

According to the Save SBC Shelter Pups Facebook page, one of the dogs is deaf and he relies on his brother for help in navigating life:

ZEUS and APOLLO OWNER SURRENDER
BOTH RESCUE ONLY
(Their mom and dad got a divorce and dumped their older dogs in the shelter-one of which is DEAF)). They HAVE to be rescued together, since the deaf sibling relies totally on the other dog.

Now these beautiful, senior dogs could use the help of strangers to help them find a safe place to go…together.
