Owner surrendered dog is terrified, and in pitiful condition from neglect

An owner surrendered dog is in pitiful condition from neglect – and he is only two years of age. The Maltese mix was surrendered to the Lancaster Animal Shelter in California on February 10 – his owners did not provide a name for the dog, or any information about him.

The dog, ID#A5352378, has badly matted fur and he is terrified. An advocate writes:

No Name 🧡 #A5352378 5yo male 15lbs. Owner surrendered with out a name or info. He is terrified and doesn’t want to be handled. Came in severely matted. Needs an eval for handling before he can leave the shelter. He could sure use some help being seen. Please share, tag and comment.
