Owners wanted Rocky euth’ed for his skin condition: Shelter refused

At Miami-Dade Animal Services in Florida, the owners of a 16-pound male terrier brought their dog to the shelter on Tuesday and asked that their 10-year-old dog be euthanized because of his skin condition. The shelter refused.

And now, Rocky is so depressed, all he does is sleep, eat and sleep some more.

A shelter volunteer tells his story and is reaching out for help now. This little guy’s future – if he is to have one, depends on someone stepping forward to help.

“This is 10 year old 16-pound neutered male terrier named Rocky – his owners brought him to the shelter and asked that he be euthanized for a skin condition- the shelter vets denied their request. He needs urgent rescue help.”
