Paralyzed in fear since intake, terrified shelter dog in need of help

A middle-aged dog has been paralyzed in fear ever since she was taken in at a California animal control agency. The seven-year-old Chihuahua, ID#A533631, is at the San Bernardino City Animal Control, and she is terrified.

On Sunday, an advocate writes:

Since her arrival, she faces the wall of her kennel, paralyzed by fear. She’s skin and bones. The shelter has her listed as 7 years old, but she looks older, possibly from years of neglect. She will be available to adopt on 8/5/20. I hate to see her living like this for an entire week
