At the Miami-Dade Animal Services, a six-year-old dog named Kim knows she is about to die in the backroom of a crowded shelter. Sadly, she has been at the shelter since January 7, 2020, and it’s as if she is invisible. No one has come to visit her nor has anyone offered to help her.
“Humans think we can’t hear them but we can. Humans think we don’t understand what they say but we do,” a shelter volunteer posted on social media to bring attention to Kim’s dangerous plight.
“They said it’s LAST CALL for me. I’ve been here too long and no one has asked about me. I’m 6 years young. I participated in playgroups and did good. My name is #KIM #A2111580 and this is my last hoorah. My last chance to get noticed…”
PetHarbor listing: KIM – ID#A2111580
I am a spayed female, brown and white Terrier mix. The shelter staff think I am about 6 years old. I have been at the shelter since Jan 07, 2020.
