Rochel is only four-years-old, however her life could end at anytime. This beautiful black and white Siberian Husky mix, with Hollywood looks, has been on the euthanasia list at the Devore Animal Shelter in California.
Unfortunately, Rochel has been labeled RESCUE ONLY for behavior. Her report states she is food aggressive, and per the policy of the shelter, she must leave with an approved 501(c)3 rescue organization in a hard shelled crate for safety reasons – staff, volunteers and rescuers alike.
PetHarbor adoption listing:
RESCUE ONLY – ID#A739496
My name is RESCUE ONLY. I am a spayed female, sable and white Husky mix. The shelter staff think I am about 4 years old. I have been at the shelter since Aug 21, 2020.
Friends of Freddie – Saving Devore Shelter Animals Devore Shelter is closed open. ROCHEL – ID #A739496 will be critically urgent because of fires in the San Bernardino area. Animals evacuated in this fire will be taken to Devore, which means dogs currently at Devore will be euthanized to make room if space is an issue. We need to work extra hard to find safe places for ROCHEL (and the other Devore dogs) to go.
Follow Rochel’s plight on Facebook here. Share her story with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
