Sad husky waits to be saved at busy California animal control

A sad husky is waiting to be saved from a busy animal control agency in California. The six-year-old dog, Lexi, has been at the Los Angeles County (Carson) facility since August 6, and it would appear that her family, assuming she had one, isn’t coming.

The Facebook page, Saving Carson Shelter Dogs, posted a video of Lexi two weeks ago, writing:

LEXI and he brother BROWNIE and they have been in the Shelter before. Hopefully the family will come for them soon. Please SHARE, they may need help if the family doesn’t come. Thanks!

#A5137699 My name is LEXI and I’m an approximately 6 year old female Siber. Husky. I am already spayed. I have been at the Carson Animal Care Center since 8/6. I will be available on 8/16. You can visit me at my temporary home at C212.

Fast forward to Sunday and Lexi, and her buddy Brownie, are still homeless and unclaimed. Though it would appear that they have been reclaimed by an owner in the past, nobody seems to be coming this time around.
