Senior dog surrendered – her family could no longer afford to keep her

A senior dog, 10 years of age, has become the latest victim of trying economic times. Her name is Slick and she was surrendered by her family on April 30 because they could no longer afford to care for her.

Today, the senior pug is waiting at the Carson Animal Services facility in California – hoping that someone will free her from her strange new surroundings and take her to a real home. According to the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page, Slick is spayed, house-trained, good on a leash and dog friendly.

Networking help needed

You can help Slick find a new family by taking a moment to network her adoption information.
