Senior shepherd forgotten at shelter after being surrendered by his family

Over a month ago, a senior German shepherd was surrendered to a busy California animal shelter. The eight-year-old dog, named Simba, lost everything that he once knew when he was left at the Los Angeles County Animal Control, Carson facility, on March 6.

Now, weeks later, Simba continues to wait for someone to take notice of him. On Monday, the Saving Carson Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote:

Handsome SIMBA was left after 8 years of living outside and now this special guy needs help. His Owner said he is great with other dogs .. Please SHARE for his life, he’s SUCH a dreamboat and a FOSTER or ADOPTER would save him.

This beautiful boy could use the help of strangers right now. Without networking assistance, he may be lost forever…only an ID number which became a statistic.

Simba’s Petharbor link can be found here.
