Severely emaciated pup dumped in the woods unable to even stand

Somewhere in the woods of Atlanta, an unknown monster dumped an emaciated dog in the woods. So weak, the dog was unable to walk or even stand. Miraculously, he was discovered by someone who had been hiking in the woods.

When brought to the shelter, the dog was immediately sent to an emergency veterinarian, but because of the lack of funding for emergency cases and lack of personnel, Rescue Dogs Rock NYC were called to help. The organization immediately made arrangements to transfer the dog to their partner veterinarian hospital.

Check out the initial video of the dog now named Hershey:

He was found by someone out in the woods (dumped we are sure) severely emaciated, so bad that he cannot stand or walk 🤬😡😥💔 You can see him here struggling to get up. Heartbreaking beyond belief. Some humans are MONSTERS!!! We do not know what else we are looking at until he gets to our vet. One day later, and Hershey is feeling a little better. He is still too weak to stand, but one look in his eyes, almost everyone is sure Hershey is very grateful for the help he knows he is receiving.

Updates to follow. Check out today’s short video:
