Clyde is a nine-year-old pittie mix who needs help to see tomorrow. He is not taking his pills for an upper respiratory infection, and therefore has been placed on the list of dogs slated to be euthanized at any time.
A volunteer at the Baldwin Park Shelter writes about Clyde, who has been at the shelter since June 18.
“He’s not taking his pills in his food and got a 48 hour notice yesterday 7-5. We just lost Brody today for the same thing. We told the rvt about the pills and they said to bring him in and Louie the rvt babies him and gave him fluids and b-12 and found a way to trick him to eat his meds.”
And as the pills were covered with nutrical,[ high calorie supplement for dogs] Clyde started to chew them. Sadly, it’s too busy at Baldwin Park Shelter, and there isn’t always time to make sure he is consuming his medications.
“…and if he’s not eating his meds, he won’t get better. Can someone come rescue this big old baby so he can get better ASAP? It’s too hot for him to be comfortable in the kennel on top of being sick…”
Please share this old boy’s plight with approved rescue organizations, friends, family and social media contacts. Sharing saves lives.
