Shepherd looks like a model, but he is stressed and unwanted at busy animal control

A handsome, five-year-old German shepherd finds himself locked away at a busy animal control facility in California. The striking dog looks like a model in his Riverside County Animal Control photo, but he is just another unwanted pet who is waiting to be saved from an unthinkable fate.

On Wednesday, the Saving Riverside Shelter Dogs Facebook page wrote:

STATUS GREEN: Showing signs of stress

ID #A1593984

I am a neutered male, 66.00 lbs, black and gray German Shepherd Dog.
The shelter staff think I am about 5 years old.
I have been at the shelter since Aug 17, 2020.

Kennel stress can result in behavior issues that will sometimes lead to a dog being deemed unadoptable. This handsome boy needs a helping hand to find a new home before that happens.
